Points A(-1,3) and B(4,1) are endpoints of a diameter of a circle.
The coordinates of the center of this circle are

(1) (3,4) (3) (1.5,2)
(2) (2,2) (4) (0,3.5)

The center is midway between the two endpoints. Therefore, its x and y components are midway between the x and y components of the endpoints.
