let's see;
if you throw a ball into the wall, the ball will cover half the distance X first right? then the half of the remaining distance, then the half etc..
X\2 + X\4 + ... + X\n = X only when n is inf. so the ball ill never hit the wall
but yet my ball bounced of the wall into my face Embarrassed

i need mathematical verification that the ball CAN and WILL hit the wall, any thoughts?

You obviously didn't throw the ball at the wall. You must have thrown the ball at a point farther than the wall (let's call the point you really threw the ball at point D).

Let D = 2 *X.

D/2 = X .... and the ball hits's the wall. No problem.

The distance to be covered eventually reaches a distance indistinguishable from Xeno.

The tried and tested method of throwing the ball against the wall is

X=Y squared x Z to the power of what they are habituated to, where -
X is the wham! coefficient
Y is the vital statistic (bra size usually)
And Z is the number of zeroes on your asset balance.

Simple logic twist is to see you are simply time slicing at a geometric rate into smaller and smaller time slices. Only time is pretty continuous and doesn't halt for the observer like this.
