...for those of you who have been here a long time, thought you'd like to know that Nancy and I met for an annual lunch with Jonathan on the Pan on Monday.
Great, great day. He was looking good....lost a bit of weight...and is running some smaller NYC events hoping to qualify for the marathon next year. I doubt he will be ready for the one on November 1st of this year.
I have a picture, but I am still trying to figure out how to get it into IMGUR so I can post it here. I am, as some of you know, a bit tech challenged. (Maybe more than a bit.) I will work on it and get that picture posted shortly.
Reeg...your name came up as did Jespah's. Even HoT was mentioned. (There's a name from the past!) I texted Kicky...and he responded while we were on the Pan. I'm hoping he will work things out so that the three of us get together at some point before AI does the dirty deed. (I suspect AI won't try to eliminate us. We just think it might because that is what humans, with their primitive thinking, do...try to eliminate others.)
@Frank Apisa,
You know, I'm sort of sorry I completely missed out on the heyday of A2K when I actually used to go to NYC annually and sometimes even traveled to other places...for
fun! Would have liked to have met all the people you talk about. I enjoy hearing about these reunions even if only at a distance!

Our sessions on the Frying Pan were attended by people from a half-dozen countries...and a dozen states. We had a ball...and knowing someone in person makes posting to them much more fun. Sorry you missed it, but if you get back into town, I know several of us will meet up with you.
