Funny you should say that. I was thinking much the same as I was placing them.
Watch out Diane.....
Diane needn't watch out, in real life we do know and appreciate each other.
I haven't nudged you in certain directions, reyn, since this is your project...
but in future forays you may wish to explore such color and personal serendipities as this last one, which has a bit of right fit re mood and color. Swaths of color... or, chains of subject matter, or.... whether the subject is looking at the camera, or... they are all animals or... they all have a bit of red or... the avatars may have certain curves, or angles in common.
well, there are many possible connections. You could do this forever, much to explore re the art of it.
Yes, but it's coming up with the inspiration. My well seems to be dry these days.
Right now I'm just having some fun with it, and hoping others are, too.
Thanks for the suggestions though. Will keep in mind.
Reyn, what program do you use to make this collage?
I'm using Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10.
Nice one to work with, but doing avatars doesn't work well (unless I'm doing it wrong). The files sizes are always too big.
Not to be picky but the correct term is montage, rather than collage, by the way.
I have digital image pro 10 too, but it's not very good with plugins. I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager for the avatars.
Microsoft should have incorporated them both into DIP 10

Maybe they'll do that in the next version.
The MS Office Picture Manager, is that a program by itself, or incorporated with something else?
I bet you have to have MS Office, right? Costs a bundle.
It is part of Microsoft Office, but it can be installed separately, once you own it. My copy came from a previous job I had.
Reyn, you don't need to take anything I say into consideration. We all have our ways.
Be free, enjoy.

Ooooh, Bill would not be best pleased....hehe!
Other than the avatar thing, I really like working with DIP. It is a lot simpler than other programs than I've tried in the past like Corel, Pixel, etc.
Corel has taken over Jasc corporation and now has a new version called Corel Paintshop Pro 10. I have tried trial of it and it is very very user friendly.

I feel pretty . .

A2K Avatars on 2 canvases
LOL
As it stands now kicky's cigarette smoke is upwind of me...whew!
I like the contrast in colors next to me Reyn, and the angle of the avs. Try to even out the avs in each canvas. My favorite av is BBB's because my first puppy was a white medium poodle. Like the one BBB is holding. Just love that av. He was a male named smoky. Place the green faery between the two flower avs next time. It's your project so you don't have to take any advice k.
Where is Gus?

Hello, Edgar. Glad you could make it under your circumstances.
I will add you tonight.

Good ventilation is the key thing!
