I've decided to start a new
A2K Avatar project. Everyone seemed to enjoy the old one so much that I thought it would be worthwhile doing again. Perhaps on an ongoing basis if the interest is there.
This time though, I'm going to do it a bit differently.
In order to be included in this project you
must personally post (with some exceptions) within this thread that you wish to be so. This not only makes it easier for me, but that way, I don't miss anybody who wants their avatar in this artwork.
So, anybody can be in this project, even if you were in the old one. Some will have changed their avatars anyway. You may request to be added at any time. If you change your avatar, let me know.
I will be updating the below canvases on a regular basis, and not just until it is completely full. When it is full, I will start another one. Also, to keep it fresh, I'll move avatars around within each canvas, and from canvas to canvas, too. It will truly be a living piece of work.
The latest copies of the avatars will always be found in this first post. That way you will know where to look.
Please, no requests to be placed in certain locations, or next to certain other avatars.

A small group of (intrepid) travellers set forth to uncover the truth
As night fell over the curvaceous mountains of (Montana), the (region Philibs) called the badlands, just south of the ((little K) ranch the ((splendius) band cane to a clearing.
As (stargis) lit the sky (eh Beth) said, "what the hell is that?" (Dyslexia) replied, "Its (justa_babbling_brook) ko." Well, it sure does (make me shiver 33) F. Is bloody freezing, Oh, (Lord Ellpus), (Mr. - Stillwater) is for the brave.
"I'll (Roger) that." Need more be said? Said ( Ticomaya). There will be none of that tonight said (Squinney) ?'who was the first to identify the mating ritual of the (Bumble Bee Boogie)' As they sat around the camp fire awaiting the (Eva) dawn. Eating a delicious (Ossobuco) freshly cooked by a local (Farmerman).
(Chai Tea) anyone? This ((Djjd 62) vintage is far too sweet. "Oh no, that's a (Calamity Jane)" said (Gargamel). Wine from (Francis-)! "France is what?" Asked (Ms Olga) demurely adjusting her (snood). "Never mind, what we need is a bold plan" said (Husker). I have just found this note in my (Colorbook), it reads,
"I have left to follow the (Dagmaraka) tracks which I hope will lead me to the precious (barefoot Tia). Love (Lion Tamer x).
Oh boy, what I would give for an A.K.47 right now. "Who(Algis.Kemezys)?" No (Noddy 24) would be better. "Wait!" said (Diane), what we need is a big ?'bad ass?' dude to lead us, if anyone can (Kickycan). I'll go West - (AngeliqueEast), and watch out for the guardian of the forest the temptress (Shewolfmn)

Nice idea, but I don't really have time to do the above. Sorry.
Another point, too, is I'm not really sure that the interest is there for this project. There has been an initial number of people who have wanted to be included in the avatars project, but it's just a drop in the bucket. We don't have that many involved yet.
Thanks for the two who put their hand up today, but still need dozens more to make this all viable.
Either way, I have updated the 2 canvases now.

Reyn, I think it's fair to assume there are a good many more posters who would be interested in being included, but either aren't aware of this thread, or aren't aware of the requirement that they request inclusion.

Is there a better way to get the word out? I figured it's been very high profile here in General for the last few days.
The problem is that we do have a few avatars, but it's not enough to really do more with. Too much for one canvas, not enough for more.
