A sprinter can accelerate with constant acceleration for 4.0 s
before reaching top speed. He can run the 100-meter dash in
10 s. What is his speed as he crosses the finish line?
??????
Distance is the area under the velocity time graph (which is a trapezium)
D=1/2 *V*T1 (the triangle) + V*T2 (the rectangle)
so 100 = 2V +6V hence V=12.5 m/s
