Howdy Folks,

I am hoping that you can help me find out the BTU's in Vegetable oils.

I am investigating using Veg Oil as alternative fuel, and would like to know how they stack up energy wise to Diesel fuel.

The oils that I would like to know about are:

Soybean Oil
Corn Oil
Hemp Oil
Canola Oil

Also, would like to know the Weight of the Oil per Litre (or US Gal).

So I am looking for Information like
# 2 Diesel Fuel has a BTU rating of about 19,000 BTU/lb
# 2 Diesel Fuel weighs about 7 lbs/US Gal

Any help is greatly appreciated.
