All composition doll can't figure out maker etc

Hi--I have an all composition baby doll--including the body. It is marked Made in USA Patent # 2252077. The doll has set in brown eyes and molded hair (brown). I can't find out the maker, year, etc. It looks a bit like the Ideal Plasser but not quite. They all have the cloth body. I'm just looking for fun--I love this doll but got wondering. Thanks.
