Geek Love! Oh Gala, that is one of my favorites. My sister came to visit and I suggested it to her - she spent her entire visit with her nose stuck in it.

David Sedaris is one of my favorites and since it's short essays it is perfect to transit.

Other funny books I've read recently that I liked:

"Electroboy" - by Andy Behrman
"Choke" and "Lullabye" by Chuck Palahuick

Not funny but very entertaining is:

"Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran-Foer

I'm going to have to check out "Three Men In A Boat" for sure.

A series of 8 books that I found captivating was a fantasy set called The Chronicals of the Cheysuli.

Its a series that is full of magic and intrigue. Its a fairly easy read, yet well written. It has its humor points in it, dealing with ironies of life's stations no matter how wealthy or poor you are.

You can find out more about them at Jennifer Robinson's web site www.cheysuli.com

They now have them in a handy little Omnibus, having 2 novels per book. It took me 3 weeks to read all 8 books, and it only took me that long because I have little kids!
