A fish tank with a rectangular base has a volume of 3,360 cubic inches.
The length and width of the tank are 14 inches and 12 inches, respectively. Find the height, in inches, of the tank.
You let "x" be the unknown you seek. After that it gets a bit complicated but if you pay close attention to your teachers you will soon get the hang of it.
Take the formula for a box and plug in the values you know. Solve for the unknown value.
ok

Thanks but what makes you think I do not pay attention in class? I am a very serious math student. There are topics and questions that appear to be challeging at first glance. What markr said makes sense. Plug everything into the formula and solve for the unknown. This I can do.

Thank you for the tip.
