Without a doubt, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Lots of great food, good conversations, exciting football games.
Many of us have had a rough stretch these last few weeks. I hope the holiday manages to soften the mental landscape...at least for a day.
Life is good!
@Frank Apisa,
Thanks for the happy thoughts
@Herbert H,
Hooray for Herbert, his deepest wish has come true.
@glitterbag,
Last time around, I went for Hillary as the only alternative. If you know me at all, that should tell all you need to know about my feelings for whats-his-name.
@roger,
Just out of curiosity, did you get any hate mail from our dear comrade Herbert?
My turkey day feast became a “side day” feast. We had many delicious sides. due to having been given a Turkey that was supposed to be fresh not partly frozen. It did not cook properly so it was not included. Luckily no one was too disappointed. The turkey was a bit sad.

Yep. I've gotten several. Seems I'm on a spam list of some sort which surprises me as I'm not nearly the most active poster nor the most vehemently anti-Trump.
@The Anointed,
Not you. please go back to sleep.
@engineer,
Perhaps they worry because you haven't insulted one of the new inbred activists............You don't have to do that, they just can't distinguish between real and crackpot. That's my description, of their inclinations. Poor Souls
