Shouldn't there be a "when" after "moment"?

Shouldn't there be a "when" after "moment"?

I'm not sure it's absolutely necessary. It's not wrong to add "when" but I believe it is understood because a moment in time is specified.

Noon is the time a fellow gets hungry.
Thursday is the day I pick up my car.
Tomorrow is the day I buy myself a new jacket.

@hightor,
True, but in his sentence it sounds better, no?

It may sound familiar but grammar errors often do.

As my learned colleague, hightor, elucidated, and my esteemed correspondent, rogerdesertfox, averred 'when' is redundant because the time was stated.

Given that today's US Open news was accompanied by a pic I'd say it was more a matter of this and that rather than this and when.

And what of the mysterious mystery man "his". Surely this is no other than Miss Elaine Koh who uses the long retired sobriquet of Miss Tan Guat Lay.

Let's hope they weren't ladling it off court.

It matters to me because no other member comments about my sobriquet.
In my opinion, as a native speaker your role is to help non-native speakers like me, not to find fault about me. If you feel I'm not worthy you help, just avoid my questions.

The last sentence should be "If you feel I'm not worthy of your help, just avoid my questions."
