Help! 9 down - fearsome person? I have T?R?AR. 131 across - put the kibosh on? I have SC?PPER. Scupper doesn't seem to be right.
179 across - fixed grin? I have RI?T?S. 233 across - measure of cloud cover? I have O?TA. Any ideas?? I didn't think I had any around these incorrect, but cannot find these answers? A tough one... Confused

So now I have 21 across as again (clue - anew) but no answer for greet at 10 down? And 266 down - clue buckle's metal tongue? I have c?ape but cannot find any definition that fits, only one to do with a scabbard - could this be taken as a buckle?
