@The Anointed,
The people's belief in sacrifice was so great that they probably believed there would need to be a sacrifice spell to end all sacrifices. Sacrifice on the brain; hard to get rid of.

It is a fact that those who worship the written word are no more and no less than prisoners of symbols--symbols that form a chain-link fence around the mind. Such ones become willing captives, and once willing, they will not call into question those parts of the fence that are wholly unholy, such as the idea that an evolved being who would desire pain, blood, and suffering in order to forgive lesser beings--lesser beings of its own making to boot! To ones who have not agreed to become a willing captive to symbols, such ideas about an evolved being are spiritually untenable and distasteful. They need to stop and ask themselves what such an idea indicates about what their God ultimately hungers for when angered--when push comes to shove.

It's like this: If God knows the beginning to the end, and the end from the beginning, then yes, he did indeed set both himself and his creation up for failure. Why would an evolved being knowingly and willingly create something it knew would fail due to the deficiencies in its own character? A tree is known by its fruits. If we be the fruits of the god, and we be sinners, too, then what kind of tree does that make the god?

Why would the god go ahead with its creation plan when it knew full well that it would fail, and that its penchant for justice would consume even its mercy? If you want to define blasphemy, why don't you include the belief that a loving, holy being is influenced by anger? And while you're at it, why don't you define narcissism as the belief that you can influence a god--that you are in charge of its moods?

I like to use the analogy of a clay-master. What would you think of a clay-master who stood looking over his creations which he has placed on a table in front of him, and who then decides to smash them under his fist because they weren't pleasing to his eye? Would you conclude that he was unhappy with the level of his talent/abilities? Or, would you conclude that the clay-master's creation's must have betrayed him? It's a no-brainer when you don't allow mindless faith to shortcircuit your thinking.

And then you have the notion of a ransom needing to be paid in order to redeem all of the future, flawed creations of this claymaster. So the god reaches up to the top shelf in his shop and pulls down a figurine that he is pleased with--one that doesn't have any flaws which he deems perfect--and he tears it apart, and then claims that doing so will allow him to overlook the flaws in the rest of his creations. Then he informs all the the other creations that the perfect figurine was torn apart to save them from being torn apart, and that they should therefore believe in this figurine, and that those who fail to do so will suffer an even worse fate than his favorite figurine which he has just subjected to public destruction.

Even more untenable is that this clay-master has even mandated that all of his creations--both present and future ones--will love him with all their heart, mind, and soul. But the question immediately comes to mind: can you love what you fear, and fear what you love? The answer, of course, is no.

And ransoms are the tools of terrorists. But you already know that . . .

@hightor,
As usual.

You should check out my latest one. I really nail joe for supporting people who celebrate the fact that they get to treat human beings they hate with no mercy whatsoever. I also nailed the people who support joe and his loyalty to a religious-nutter and his murderous insanity.

What in hell is going on??

It's like this: If God knows the beginning to the end, and the end from the beginning, ETC.

He is the First and the Last, the Beginning and End, the Alpha and Omega, the Father and Son.

The history of your life has been recorded by who you are and you should be able to recall all things back to your beginning. The Omega can recall all his existence, from the beginning to the present, his present that is, not yours which is in his past.

in fact the Omega can and does mentally merge with the Alpha from who he came but first, the Alpha in each generation must evolve to become the Omega in each cycle of universal activity or should I say, in each generation of the eternal oscillating universe.

You speak of a CLAY MASTER…Clay is no more than matter created from atoms and it has now been revealed that matter is no more than an illusion.
Quantum physicists discovered that so called physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature.

If you observe the composition of an atom with a microscope you would see a small, invisible tornado-like vortex, with a number of infinitely small energy vortices called quarks and photons. These are what make up the structure of the atom. As you focused in closer and closer on the structure of the atom, you would see nothing, you would observe a physical void. The atom has no physical structure, we have no physical structure, physical things really don’t have any physical structure! Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter.

Energy can be and is converted to that which we perceive as matter. In fact, this apparent material universe at the time of the Big Bang, was, according to the most popular theory of the creation of this universe, pure electromagnetic energy, which, In my Opinion, was spewed out of a WHITE HOLE, in the trillions upon trillions of degrees, or, according to scientific measurements (180 million trillion, trillion degrees Fahrenheit), which electromagnetic energy has been converted to that which we perceive as matter, only to be reconverted to its original form as electromagnetic energy during the phase of the Big Crunch, when all will swallowed by the great gravitational anomaly and be ripped apart atom by atom, subatomic particle by subatomic particle, and fall as fire into the Great Abyss, or Black Hole that is connected to a White Hole at the end of an Einstein Rosen bridge that connects the two.

There, it shall be crushed and reconverted to a singularity, which is a region of space-time in which matter is crushed so closely together that the gravitational laws explained by general relativity break down. In a singularity, the volume of space is zero and its density is infinite. Scientists believe such a singularity exists at the core of a black hole, which occurs when a super-massive sun reaches the end of its life and implodes.

General relativity also demands such a singularity must exist at the beginning of an expanding universe.

The next generation of the universe where the Most High to have evolved in the previous generation [The Omega] becomes the Alpha of the next universal cycle.

Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: “The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like ‘A GREAT THOUGHT’ than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter. (R. C. Henry, “The Mental Universe”; Nature 436:29, 2005)
I see your supposed Clay Master as my Mental Master, ‘’THE GREAT THOUGHT’ which has evolved to become this entire universe and all the life forms within it.

There are those blind people who believe that a universe of mindless matter has produced beings with intrinsic ends, [in Kantian terminology, an end-in-itself] --------- self- replication capabilities, and “coded chemistry”? But those with eyes to see, now accept that it is the eternal energy, which has neither beginning or end, that has become this material universe and all that exists, and has developed a mind that is the compilation of all the information gathered by all the diverse life-forms that it [The Eternal Energy, The Great Thought] has become, the collective consciousness of all that it has become.

TO BE CONTINUED.

@The Anointed,
Continued from previous post.

, “According to the ancients, we live in an eternal oscillating universe that expands outward and contracts back to its beginning in space time. A universe that exists in the two states of seemingly visible matter and invisible energy.”

“Universe after universe is like an interminable succession of wheels forever coming into view, forever rolling onwards, disappearing and reappearing; forever passing from being too non-being, and again from non-being to being. In short, the constant revolving of the wheel of life in one eternal cycle, according to fixed and immutable laws, is perhaps after all, the sum and substance of the philosophy of Buddhism. And this eternal wheel has so to speak, six spokes representing six forms of existence.” ---- Mon. Williams, Buddhism, pp. 229, 122.

The days and nights of Brahma are called Manvantara, or the cycle of manifestation, ‘The Great Day,’ which is a period of universal activity, that is preceded, and also followed by ‘Pralaya,’ a dark period, which to our finite minds would seem as an eternity, or but a moment in time.

‘Manvantara,’ is a creative day as seen in the six days of creation in Genesis, ‘Pralaya,’ is the evening that proceeds the next creative day. The six periods of Creation and the seventh day of rest are referred to in the book of Genesis 2: 4; as the “GENERATIONS OF THE UNIVERSE.”

The English word “Generation,” is translated from the Hebrew “toledoth,” which is used in the Old Testament in every instance as ‘births,’ or ‘descendants,’ such as “These are the generations of Adam,” or “these are the generations of Abraham, and Genesis 2: 4; it is written concerning the six days of creation; “These are the generations of the Universe or the heavens and earth, etc.” And the ‘Great Day’ in which the six generations of the universe are eternally repeated, is the eternal cosmic period, or the eighth eternal day in which those who attain to perfection, are allowed to enter, where they shall be surrounded by great light and they shall experience eternal peace, while those who do not attain to perfection are cast back into the refining fires of the six physical cycles of endless rebirths that perpetually revolve within the eighth eternal cosmic cycle.

Enoch the righteous, wrote that God created an ‘EIGHTH’ day also, so that it should be the first after his works, and it is a day eternal with neither hours, days, weeks, months or years, for all time is stuck together in one aeon, etc, etc, and all who enter into the generation of the Light beings, are able to visit all those worlds that still exist in Space-Time, but not in our time.

A series of worlds following one upon the other-- each world rising a step higher than the previous world, so that every later world brings to ripeness the seeds that were imbedded in the former, and itself then prepares the seed for the universe that will follow it.

Enoch, who, at the age of 365 (The number of days in a calendar year) was lifted up and anointed as the heir and successor to the throne of our Father ‘The Lord of physical Creatures,’ and the Most High in the creation, and translated from a body of corruptible Matter into a body of brilliant and blinding Light in order that he should never experience death.

Christ is the English term for the Greek Χριστός (Khristós) meaning "the anointed one" It is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Māšîaḥ), usually transliterated into English as Messiah or Mashiach. The Hebrew word translated "anointed" is the verb form of the noun "Messiah."

The only time that the man Jesus was anointed was by the once sinful sister of Lazarus and that was in preparation for his death, whereas Enoch was anointed by the ‘MOST-HIGH’ in the creation and granted eternal life even though he was of the body of the condemned Adam.

HOW? Can a righteous judge just grant pardon to any of the body of Adam which has been sentenced to death?

To be continued.

In Galatians 3:22, 23, Paul says the Jews were “held prisoners by the law”

And we who have faith in the Christ, who revealed himself through his servant Jesus, obey the spirit of the law, but not the black and white letter of the law. The written law says ‘’Thou shall not kill’’ and those who are prisoners to the written law, having access to a rifle and witnessing a psychopath running amuck among a mob of school children with a hand gun, who, in fear of losing their immortal soul if they kill that animal, will do nothing to protect the children, while those who live by the spirit of the law would not think twice about blowing the psychopaths head off to stop his slaughter of the innocents.

Of the two, who do you believe that God would reward.

I tell you now that you can lie there is a time to steal
There is a time to disobey there is a time to kill
There is a work that must be done upon the Sabbath day
No one who understands the Lord would teach another way
For the spirit judges not on what you do
The heart and soul of man he searches through
It’s the reason why the deeds of man are done
This is what the Lord God judges on.

Seems to me that loving your neighbor as yourself, and doing unto others as you would have them do unto you covers everything. It also seems that, for those who can't find it within themselves to do that, the bible offers a bunch of "thou shalt nots" along with a water ceremony, and other manual, spell-like methods that allow followers to bypass the love thing.

The Old Covenant, unlike the new, was a physical (earth) based agreement that was initially made at Mount Sinai with the children of Israel. It required obedience to the letter of God's law. But the new covenant consists not of a written law but of the spirit. The written law brings death, but the spirit gives life. And the whole law is fulfilled in those two commands, ‘ Love God and love your neighbour as yourself.’’

‘’The thou shalt mots’’ could never work, for although we hold human life sacred, there comes the time when to protect the lives of our children we must kill those who would destroy them.

As to the water ceremony, 1 Peter 3: 21; speaks of the few people in the boat — eight in all — who were saved by the water, which was a symbol pointing to baptism, which now saves you.

Baptism is seen by Peter as being symbolic of the flood, in which the old earthly body of Adam was submerged in the baptismal waters of the earth and the new spiritual body of Enoch, the heir to the throne of ‘The Most High in the creation,” arose from those waters.

Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives are all direct genetic descendants of Enoch, (The Anointed one,) through his six sons, Methusulah, Rigam, Riman, Urchan, Cherminian, and Giadad.
