A belief system bringing tears cannot
be believed.
It glows in the sun in a certain way.
The sun lit up a cubist Spanish village upon the hill- --that is a belief seen from above;
an intensified humanity
in community, where I slave and clean the lavatories,
and then the light moved on to a pile
of rocks and stones,
and it is
only the light,
indifferent to the object of worship
so caressed, illumined.
So the witness on the shining sheer hillside
marvels: at the stones of make-believe,
the smallness of the houses
which this morning kicked and scolded me.

When is a person in union?
A person is in union when the male and the female principle
Within the soul are in union.
A person is in union when he or she is united
With a member of the opposite sex.
The man and the woman should have a single desire
For union within themselves.
Then the hour of union between themselves
Shall give them perfect joy.
At that time there shall be perfect unity
Of both body and soul.
They shall form one body,
And the male and the female principle
Shall form one soul.
When male and female are in union
God abides.
