MTG - nothing, nada, nil - and it's so sweet!

And you say?

@roger,
I can't stand the sound of her voice. I don't listen to the news; I read it. But it's been a great reprieve.

I don't even watch main stream media anymore, can't stand seeing MTG or that other hack Lauren Boebert!

@jcboy,
I know, right? I just read how Boebert got escorted out of a musical for singing, dancing and taking videos. What a numbnut. And she's proud of her performance!

@jcboy,
Interestingly, it seems like mainstream media has come to some realizations. I'm seeing a lot less of Trump and his ilk.

@engineer,
It's been a while for me since I watched mainstream media, I swore off CNN when they gave Trump a platform, to me they were no better than Fox News. I deleted my twitter account well over a year ago, they're a mess now. I pretty much just watch the local news channels now and that's just for local news.

Foreign press are still giving accurate accounts of what's going on in the US.
Go to BBC, The Guardian, or Al Jazeera. I also go to some others in Europe.

@CalamityJane,
For some reason a lot of people wince whenever Al Jazeera is mentioned. I haven't seen it in a while but when it was on regularly the news was very succinct, accurate and not presented in a biased way. At least that was my impression, but I have to read a lot of information from different venues before I feel 'informed'.

During the last administration, every morning when I woke up my first question was always "So, what's the current outrage of the day??". Often I'd hear things that were so outrageously funny I knew they couldn't be true, had to be something from the "Onion" right? Well, too often they actually were true and I'd feel deep embarrassment for my country, the nutcases put a greedy, hateful moron into the Oval Office............He visited North Korea and was a perfect clown, he visits the Pope and decked the women out as if they were attending a funeral.....He groveled like an old pervert over how lovely the French Presidents wife was because he assumed she would be a decrepit old bag (like himself). But the absolute worst was posing in front of the CIA memorial to the deceased and bragging about how EVERYBODY vote for him, fired the FBI director and entertained 2 Russian Putin groupies in the OVAL OFFICE. God bless America, we had a man that's so important and strong he doesn't need any American assistance while he handles the vilest dictators of our times.

@glitterbag,
I had a lot of respect for Al Jazeera's coverage, too.

@roger,
I find it quite balanced, and the coverage is great. My regulars are BBC News, NYT, and ALJ.

The world hopes America doesn't vote in that, and I quote, "orange shitgibbon" again. I don't think the US would/could recover, globally.

@glitterbag,
Well, when you add that likelihood to all this other nonsense that's going on, I'm just going to close my eyes and stay indoors.

@glitterbag,
glitterbag, that was a great account on what happened during the Trump administration. I found myself apologizing over and over to my European family and friends and couldn't explain why he was voted int office in the first place. It's a dark piece of history we won't see a repeat of - even if I have to hire a hitman myself.
