I'm afraid my vision is much darker, with little to no comic relief.

So real is my desire to see that man reap some consequences for the bad things he's done, that my fantasies about possible outcomes have to include some real suffering for the man. Some public shaming. Some serious inconvenience. Some kind of ******* hardship. Prison time, while being forced to wear an orange jumpsuit and let his tanning paint and hairdressing lapse, would be a good start.

They should arrest him in the middle of the night, in the dark, quietly! No pomp, no circumstance, just get him to a cell! And I just thought of the perfect plan after his arrest. I'm going over to the World Famous Las Vegas Strip and dance in the 2 mile long Conga Line. Razz

Did you get the sense we were having a little fun, so you needed to see what you could do to squelch that?

I got the sense that wanting someone in jail whether he's guilty of a crime or not is immoral.

For a government in power to do whatever it takes to put the opposition leader in jail on whatever charge, no matter how absurd, is what happens in banana republics.

Tuning the most respected legal system in the world into a political weapon against your political advisories is what is done historically in the worst of the worst countries. Only the ignorant and immoral are happy about such a thing. This has nothing to do with justice. But i'm glad liberals are making it clear who they really are and who the enemy is.

It's not hard. Just acknowledge truth. Acknowledge that they have been going after Trump relentlessly not because they are interested in justice but because they don't like his politics. This is exactly what they do in countries that have gone bad and if your with it then your part of the rot.
