We've all seen disclaimers in movies protecting poetic license regarding events, facts, or people. However, poetic license is not limited to movies, and we are subjected to a barrage of misinformation on the internet, politics, and elsewhere. We'd like to see disclaimers applied universally such as:
Trump disclaimer before a speech:
All facts, statistics, and claims portrayed in this Trump speech are fictitious. Any identification with actual facts, statistics, and claims is not intended or should be inferred.
@coluber2001,
Disclaimers for Putin:
1. ditto for Trump
2. This man is a menace to the world, is engaging in war crimes and other criminal activity and is a master of manipulation and mis-/disinformation and cannot be believed.
