Here you are - my contribution to the mellowness. In the outback around Coober Pedy it's pretty much all gibber plain but about a half hour drive north of the town is the Breakaways which is the northern end of the Stuart Ranges. Stark but quite beautiful.

Yes, it is beautiful, gf. So still, calm & timeless.
What I love about these parts of Oz is the big, blue, endless sky! So much more important than mere land. Just magical - another world!

Looks like a beautiful spot, Francis. I've never seen it. I'll vouch for La Mansion del Rio on the Riverwalk there, though. It was the best place I've ever stayed in Texas. Just wonderful.
