@realjohnboy,
you know, in the olden days, we used to queue for hours for tangerines and bananas and car tires ....but grilled cheese sandwiches? i personally have a wiener schnitzel in my purse and consider this to be a major letdown. i will stay in the queue in case you're wrong and there's something else at the end of this.

@Rockhead,
I've had that govmint cheese.. my inlaws used to get it. They were, ah, very tight, but lest I sound like I am making fun, no - their families squirreled their nuts and made it through the depression. Just that they were still doing all that forever, after they'd banked quite a bit.

That did make for tough christmas presents for the boys - packages of white sox, and some plaid shirts from the aunts in Montana. Period.

So is plaid back in this year? I don't think so.

That's over in the Penny's flannel shirts department line.

(I liked flannel shirts from Penny's. Would prefer them not to be plaid now)

@Lustig Andrei,
HEY, YOU! I saw that! Thought you'd try to cut ahead of me in line while I was talking to ehBeth, didja? Well, it's not gonna work. Go to the end of the line! That's right, down the block, around the corner, over the bridge and about two miles south. I think that's where it ends now.

You think we're gonna let you cut in line after all the time we've been standing here? Think again, mister.

We've been standing here for six years.

Is this i-phone line? Might I ask a question, if it is? What the hell can you do with one that justifies the expense?

@edgarblythe,
Surf high quality/high res. porn anywhere you are in the world? Would that sound appealing and notable enough for the high cost of an iPhone and it's even costlier data rates? Surprised Razz
