I'm not sure YOU know what country music is. With the mainstreaming of country music in the late 90s and early 00s to the current day ... music scene? The genre has been evolving (for me... for worse than better*). That's what music genres do. Something that has been happening for literally millennia of music as a medium. Currently, hip hop and other seemingly conflicting genres have merged with the once traditional and very conservative music genre.

If you don't like it? Just listen to the several decades of music from that genre which you already know and like. You as an individual ain't doing crap to change the current tidal change the genre is going through.

*I'm not liking the current trend for very different reasons that you likely hold against the current slate of artists in the genre.
