Given: BD is an altitude to side AC, AE is an altitude to side BC, CE = CD.

PROVE:
Triangle AEC is congruent to Triangle BDC

MY WORK:

Statement:

1.BD is an altitude to side AC.............Given
2.AE is an altitude to side BC..............Given
3.CE = CD........................................Given
4.Angle C is concruent to angle C........Reflexive property
5.Triangle AEC is congruent to Triangle BDC.....ASA Postulate

Is this correct?

No one can say I did not do my work but I doubt it is right.

Looks good to me.
(1) implies angle BDC is right
(2) implies angle AEC is right
