How to call javascript in a parent window from a child window?

After opening a window [ win = window.open (); ], how does win execute a javascript function in its opener?

I just found the answer!

In the CHILD using <a href="#" onclick="opener.aFunction()">...</a> allows CHILD to execute aFunction in its opener.
