I rarely see any updates on the infrastructure bill that passed. Here is one positive note.

Thanks to President Biden’s infrastructure bill, remote locations on the Navajo Nation reservation are receiving electricity — for the first time, ever.

A comment by a friend on another site:
Read that the only thing holding Garland back from indicting trump for the Mar-A-Lago fiasco is the appeal to remove the Special Master the DOJ filed. I think it will be determined in a few days.

Imagine there's a lawyer who won a $9.5 Billion settlement against a Big Oil company & rather than pay it, the company went after the lawyer, got him disbarred & arrested. Now imagine the US gov did nothing to prevent it & instead supported it.

Biden Breaks His Promise, Betrays Rail Workers
BY THE LEVER – 29 NOV 2022 – VIEW ONLINE →
Friends,
The self-proclaimed “most pro-union president” in American history is siding with railroad bosses over tens of thousands of rail workers as he pushes for an agreement to head off a nationwide railroad strike. In doing so, President Joe Biden isn’t just betraying his pro-union credentials — he’s also breaking his promises on providing paid sick leave to the country’s workers.
They got enough blowback they passed a second bill to include sick pay. This is a prime example of why you have to relentlessly goad the government to get any favorable results. And it makes no difference which party it is.

Biden has been compared to Lyndon Johnson.
Despite being from the right of the party Johnson pressed ahead with civil rights legislstion in the same way Biden has with LGBTQ rights.
Neither were/are particularly popular in general.

It's no surprise that the recent investigation on Biden's handling of his own confidential documents was distorted and erroneous.
