Ten ounces of liquid has 20% fruit juice and 80% water. The mixture is diluted adding 40 additional ounces of water. What's the percent of fruit juice in the new solution?
Figure out how many ounces of fruit juice are in the original 10 ounces. Add 10 ounces plus 40 ounces. The ounces of fruit juice stay the same, so from there you should be able to figure it out.
ok
Thank you for the hint.
