It was 32 deg C here today and now at 6:45 pm it's still 29. Good for my garden but for me, not so much. We are sweltering. But obviously not in peril as so many others are. So... I'm grateful, but sweating as I am. Ugh.

@Mame,
Right now, 90f - down from 95. We've had a few days in the low 100's, but usually cools off overnight. The evaporative cooler works well with our low humidity and altitude, but it works best if you anticipate the afternoon temps.

The excessive heat and the lack of rain has so far killed some tall trees for me. Especially maddening, I watered the bald cypress nearly every day when it was green. It still went brown all the way up.

@Brandon9000,
Around the 18th/19th July the temperature hit 38c/100f. Seldom does the UK get that sort of sweltering weather.

I didn't know where to put myself, although the fridge looked a good idea to dive into. Smile

Today it is 19c/66f with plenty of rain the last few evenings.

@izzythepush,
Same here, and for all week (and last) - it got to 32 C in the last couple of days. I've been mainly staying indoors near my fan. This is typical for a Calgary summer.

It's going to be 23/24 for the rest of the week, rising to 26 at the weekend.

We're expecting our third thunderstorm in three days. Typical Alberta summer.

23 C or 72F here, but it's so bloody humid (80%) and I hate humidity....
We used to have nice, dry weather here - that's no longer the case due to
climate changes. Sad

Right now it's 67 degrees, high of 78 today. Sure beats the weather we had while living in Florida. I heard from friends July was the hottest month in decades.

@Joeblow,
It's currently 86F/30C with 73% humidity, for coastal area Maryland that's mild for August. Yesterday late afternoon we had heavy thunderstorms, pounding rain off and one....then we lost all electric power about 10 PM. Electricity returned about 4:30 AM. Thankfully it went out late at night instead of middle of the day. Yesterday full heat would have been well into the 90's and humidity was in the mid-90's, thankfully the heavy rains cut the humidity at various times during the day.

I want to say so far this summer has been a little mild for us, but I know if I say that the temps will immediately rise over 100 and the humidity very close to 100%, so I'm not going to say that in case the weather is listening to me............
