This is my stepson's new pup, Lorenzo. He found him behind the restaurant where he works. We have no idea what kind of dog he is but my husband is weary, seeing some pit bull in the mix. Anyone care to guess what kind of dog this little pup may be? He's a cutie but, aren't they all?
Cool dog, eoe. I have no idea what it is.
Perhaps a cross between a pomeranian and a pit bull?
What is that open-looking patch of skin all about?
Heck if I know. I'm totally ignorant about dogs. What do you think it might be?

I can't understand why anyone would say there's pit bull in the mix. A friend of mine has always had pit bull mixes, and they look practically hairless in comparison to that little pup. By the way, his dogs have always been the nicest, most well-behaved dogs. A bad pit bull is the product of an idiot owner.
That bare patch is just his little underbelly, Gus.
First pic actually makes him look like a stuffed animal.
Not sure what he might be. But, he sure is a cutie.
Maybe a little resemblance, but I'm not really seeing pit bull either.
Sorry. Didn't realize that Gus didn't realize that's his belly. I guess it does look like a patch of skin on his side or something but he's got his back paw up, wrestling with his toy bear.

He is really, really cute, eoe. He definitely looks like he could be part Lab. Is his coat fairly curly though? Or is that still just that super sweet downy fluffiness of little puppyhood I see?
Stepson did say he thought Lorenzo might be part Lab but we thought that might be just the wishful thinking of a new dad.
No, his coat isn't curly. Just soft and downy.

How cute is that? Unfortunately, he belongs to my stepson who lives with his mom.
I do want a dog. This may really be the turning point for me.

My son rescued a beautiful and loving yellow lab from the animal shelter a few days before he had to have his adored dog, Cody Ryan, put to sleep. They named the year-old dog "Buddy." They adore him.

I would have to agree about the black lab part. He does seem like he has a little lab in him. His nose looks a little like some type of terrier? Not sure but he really is cute!

I don't see any pit bull there at all and I agree that he looks like he's probably a lab mix.
