I now prefer one, just one, Newman-O'. (chocolate sandwich cookies sublime)

Or two.

Or, perhaps, three.

I prefer to buy the Little Debbie package of six swiss rolls, an' then eat 'em all up at one sitting . . . ah, wretched excess . . .

May it fluorish.
In the meantime..

well, I dunno, all the do and don'ts have changed over time.
Moving around seems good, I should do that myself.
I am a fan of folic acid and see it announced as worthy recently. Whatever - in contrast to atkins et al, I think, eat veggies, including carrots and corn, cooked lightly however you can, including with pasta and butter. (Well, no, not carrots and so on with pasta, I was speaking generally). And I'm not flaming against all meat. Am in favor of the most obnoxiously delicious once in a while and none in between.. but that is my crazy self.

I see I am digressing in a shorthand way.

You, Set, are better placed than me, I think, since you don't do booze. I like it, in my tempered way. Never said I was the perfect person.

You'll get your folic acid in much the same sources as the "B vitamins," leafy green vegetables. There are some proteins which are simply not available from any other source than meat. Being vegan seems foolish to me, but adults have a right to foolishness. No so with children, however. In Ohio, a vegan couple were successfully prosecuted for child endangerment because the diet they had fed their children had left them stunted and intellectually "retarded."

Well, me, I did much of my time in the med world with a physician who was rather known for his work on intrinsic factor, which is related to B12... and he in particular was for eating some meat.

He's also known for some medical thrillers...

Me, I am very aware of various needs for nutrients and am slow to shut off whole channels, such as meat. Neither am I wild about meat eating as a kind of destiny magnified.

I eat some meat myself, and really enjpy it, but I'm the choosy sort - read obnoxious bitch - relative to some good local purveyors.
