I got flack for liking such music, but I never let other opinions guide mine.

@edgarblythe,
I have a ton of them in my basement, belonged to my Parents. There is a ton of 78 rpm's, and 33 & third, plus a rat trap of CD's he bought in later years. Whose going to want them later, I bet the afterlife or whatever doesn't care at all.
Some of my collection begins from purchases as early as 1958. They have been played so many times I don't know who might want them. Some are in good shape. My copy of Blonde on Blonde is the only one issued with a picture of his wife on the inner jacket. My kids will be invited to have them one day.
You're right. An original Buddy Holly 45 even without the sleeve might be valuable to some. I have a Bob Dylan 45 from the 60s where they put the wrong song on it. Positively Fourth Street/Crawl out your Window. The mispressing used the same band as on Highway 61 Revisited, while the official Crawl Out your window was with The Band.
