He inherited a tremendous good fortune.
Is the sentence correct?
Thanks.
It's problematic, fortune has more than one meaning. It can mean a large sum of money, but it can also mean luck.
The phrase good fortune would normally mean luck, not money and luck isn't really something that can be inherited.
He inherited a huge fortune can only mean wealth.
"He inherited a tremendous fortune," is probably sufficient by itself. Otherwise this is how to use "good" in that sentence:
He inherited a tremendously good fortune.
This is simpler:
He inherited a very large fortune.
