A car and a lorry were traveling towards a park. The car overtook the lorry when they were 400km away from the park. The car arrived at the park 2 hrs earlier than the lorry. When the car reached the park, the lorry was still 100km away. Find their speeds.
Let the amount of time the car traveled be X. What is the car's speed in terms of X? You know that the truck took two hours longer or X+2. What is the truck's speed in terms of X? You know that the truck travelled 300 km in X hours. Using this data, what is the truck's speed in terms of X? You should have everything you need.
