Can anyone who is good at chem please help me answer this question?

a) could a xylophone be considered a "quantized" musical instrument? explain.
b) consider two watches, one a digital watch and the other an anlog watch with hands. which of these, in a sense, the more "quantized" watch explain.

i coouldn't really understand this so thanks alot if u can help me on this!

Electrons in atoms are quantized because they can only be found in individual and discrete energy states.

On the xylophone, do you hit more than one bar at a time with a mallet? Or just one at a time?

Which watch, digital or analog, changes continuously and which "jumps" to different values?

so do you mean that if the movement is continous like in a wave then it is quantized?

Quanta of energy changes levels with discreet jumps.

And a xylaflowum, unlike the stringed violenze instruments, plays notes discreetly as they are individually planked. Whereas the stringed violenze plays noted according to where the string is stopped when see-sawn. So the Xyloflowum plays quanta notes to the violenze' continuous notes (and misnotes).

The same thing can be said about a digital versus an analog clock. The digital changes time using the quanta of seconds (or minutes) whereas the analog clock (traditional) displays time as a continua. So the digital is more of quanta time.

MP3s seem more quantized in contrast to the live performance of xylophone.
A digital watch appears more quantized in contrast to an analog watch with smoothly moving pointers.

But note that these impressions are only a matter of degree. After quantum mechanics has succeded in the modern science, everything is being considered to be quantized.
