This lady tied her son to a saree and lowered him from the 9th floor to the 8th to fetch her saree which had fallen on the 8th flr. This can happen only in India.

Should there be a comma before"whuch"?

Thanks.

First of all, it sounds better to say "which had fallen TO the 8th floor" or "which had LANDED on the 8th floor"...

I don't think a comma is necessary before 'which', but you could legitimately use one. It doesn't change the meaning at all.
