The American Justice system is designed to be as objective as possible. A defendant has a right to a trial by a jury of his peers. There is a process for selecting an impartial jury that although not perfect, has protections for ensuring that jurors don't harbor a bias.

There are strict rules of evidence, and a process of testimony and a whole system designed to arrive at a fair verdict.

This system is working as well as any system can.

The Arbery verdict today was a perfect example of the system. The Rittenhouse verdict was another example. The fact that no political side or movement can determine the outcome of the verdict is a feature of the system.

Political ideologues are focused on outcomes; they are interested in getting the results that they want. If you want to criticize the current system of justice, I would like to hear specific ways to change the process that would be applied to all defendants and make trials more fair for everyone.

The American justice system is working very well as it is.

Are you criticizing the result? or the process?

If you are criticizing the process, how do you think the OJ trial could have been done more fairly?

no, just youre tiresome waspy ness with yer opinions . Both trials are a lesson for both sides.Only the jury has the benefit of ALL the evidence and even that is cross examined. We sit here on our asss by the fireplace and feel our opinions are worth a pinch of spit. We will understand the full spectrum of vidence when the first book is written

The justice system is imperfet, slow, and still more often gets the job done. Forensics has mae eye witness testimony almost worthless.
