For a while now ive wanted to take pictures of the moon.

We recently got a digital amera so I thought 'hoorah' something modern with a zoom.

But when I went to take a piccie I zoomed in as much as I could but it was even smaller on the screen thatn it was in real life.

I realise the moon is quite a way away so what kind of zoom.magnification would i have to be looking at to get a decent picture where it fills most of the screen?

You would need a telescope with a camera mount adapter to take decent moon pictures.

Oh yeah. Much more, I'm sorry to say. Sad Try a Google search for telescopes and see what they may cost in your area. When I looked several months back, they started at around $200.00 US and went up to over $10,000.00 US.
