Scientists have announced a new universal constant:
The Edo (E) number is defined as the maximum number of events that can occur simultaneously in one cubic metre.
No longer need we struggle with the concept of 'what might happen'. No longer can we muse over the obscurity of quantum probalistic events. With the E number, we see Newtonian mechanics return in a new form, to again place strict limits on the nature of events.
There are some caveats with the definition of E. 'One cubic metre' does not discount the 'volume' contributed by extra-dimensional axes, it references it. Scientists also indicate how E can change according to physical conditions. In empty, dimensionally flat space (or as near as..), E is at its theoretical maximum of about 10^1200. Whereas in a physical singularity E drops to 1.
Do thoughts count as events?
Maybe the key question should be in 10 or 11 dimensional space what is E, and is there any way to physically test for the E value - other than too see if you can get a super collider to leak energy into possibly other dimensions?
