How do you find the maximun distance between 2 points?

I have a curve with point A(1;3) which is fixed and point B which moves along the curve. The curve starts on point (-1;-1), ends on point (5;2) and intersects the y axis on point (0;2). I need to find the maximum distance between A and B.
