PA and its absentee ballots

Trump is winning the state by about 700,000 votes, but there are 1.4 million absentee ballots to count as of 9:30ish EST. The NYT's Nate Cohn thinks they favor Biden since the ballots counted so far have gone his way. With Biden at 227 EVs right now, it'll bring him up to 247.

What do you all think?

@InfraBlue,
I think Biden has a better than average chance of winning MI, WI and NV making PA mute. But yes, I think 60/40 Biden wins PA as well.

They just called Michigan for Biden. CNN is pointing out that Arizona and Nevada get Biden to 270.

Biden is winning in both Arizona and Nevada (and the votes that are still out are from Democratic districts).

Pennsylvania is gravy.

@maxdancona,
Pa had the huuuge bulge all done by mail and drop boxes. We love pissin off the Postmaster Gen. I think over 1.3 million mail- ins were in the Pa vote tally. The state election law said that they could NOT begin counting until they were all reported in andall were using the "secret ballot" inner envelope they havent completed that yet. I imagine we will lose a few thousand votes from folks too dim to read the instructions. Then there will be the lawsuits that Trump has already filed. (He did it smart in PA because he filed BEFORE the election ). In Mixh where hes looking to sue, the courts wont take it up because the suits have NOT followed protocol.

Biden will have to become Gerald Ford, vetoing hisself for four years. Looks like the GOP will still retain the Senate but by one less vote and picking up 2 for Dems (Harris as Pres of the Senate, and one Dem). So the vetos wont be overridden in the senate.

@farmerman,
The Trump campaign is filling suit in PA to halt the vote counting until they can have more monitors. I wonder how that is going to fly. Everyone knew there were going to be lots of mail in votes weeks ago and that the state law prevented any preprocessing. It seems like the campaigns had ample warning to get all the observers in place they wanted.

@engineer,
When my wife and I dropped off our mail-ins at the drop box at Longwood Gardens, there were watchers from all parties nd guys way in the back with field glasses.
When they started counting on WEd , the initial data was not being rported until each precinct in a county rported in and the numbers tallied to the ballots issued (Apparently there were a few **** ups but those were either tossed or were listed for provisional ballots).
Biden is opening his lead and now we have to wait for the overseas ballots .
I dont expect much change in the rate of Bidens increase in Pa since Trump paid a price in Arizona for trying to mindlessly condemn John McCain's memory. Hes been openly critical of our troops ,Marines, and sailors/pilots. I always thought Trump would bear some kind of punishment for his reproach of our military, from the members as well as their loved ones.

That was his "Deplorables"
