A college book store marks up the price it pays the publisher for a book by 25%. If the selling price of a book is $56.00, how much did the book store pay for the book?

Is this question asking for the original price of the book?

Okay
I can take it from here. I needed to know exactly what the question is asking. I can find the original price.
