@tsarstepan,
False

There was a time in your life when you were seriously thinking of joining one of the civilian services (Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service etc)

@P E Dant,
True. Before leaving school I had deeply thought about joining the Police force, then changed tack to join the nursing.

At least once in your life you searched down the couch/sofa, also jacket pockets for some money as you were skint/stony broke.

It wasn't a 'search' as such, because I knew where the money was, but it was to be used only in the direst of circumstances, and had been well hidden away Smile

You have at least one book that you love, and read over and over and over

@P E Dant,
Well, there are some books that are important to me, I read them at least 3 times, and have the intention to do so again.

You participated in a TV quizz show.

@Bubbles66,
Rarely do I forget the day. When you're retired, it doesn't really matter that much which day it is anyway. They're all pretty much the same, but I keep track out of habit anyway.

You are active on other social websites other than A2K.

@P E Dant,
I keep a list in notes in my cell phone of the movies I'm watching or have watched recently or want to watch. Oddly enough, I hardly ever watch a whole movie in one sitting.

Do you pay for movies to stream or look for free sites?

Neither. I just look at the TV Times to see what movies are on that I would like to watch.

You navigate the dark house at night to go to the bathroom using your keen sense, or you turn on the lights.

Turn on the bathroom light.

If you have a mobile phone, you can remember the number straight away.

@Bubbles66,
It takes a little effort to remember the phone number. Strangely enough I can remember our family telephone number from 60 years ago easier. 20469. Imagine, 5 numbers.

You remember using a rotary dial on a telephone.

Only in a Museum... it actually worked! (But only as far as the old manual exchange at the Museum entrance, where the Staff answered, as a working example of how telephones used to be)

@Bubbles66,
True! Bought the calendar, but nothing added to it... made a bad error last year when I didn't get it early from the 'el cheapo' shop ($2) and had to buy one from the newsagency! $6.50! Sad

Once, when cleaning the kitchen cupboards, you found a mouse nest! Shocked
