No. Though the rain didn't bother me that much when it settled down to a manageable drizzle. Was caught in the downpour this afternoon. Had to stay under a bodega's awning for 12 to 15 minutes as I had no umbrella. Lost two bottles of wine from Trader Joes as the paper bag broke and they fell to the sidewalk.
You have relatives living in the former Iron Curtain countries of Europe who are a tad scared of what V. Putin will do next.
