While we're at it, people who pronounce meme as "me me".

For those who might know Comic Sans is a goofy font. Children or silly messages might be used with this font.

Children don't even use it.
I think the only one who wouldn't know what it is, is Mark Nobe, as it's the default on his computer, since it's a browser from the 1980's or something.

It's hard to read, and lame.

I can't even read comics in Comic Sans without my glasses.

Thing is, whenever this horrible font is used, even in the guise of "it's for the children", it isn't a child who made the decision to use it.

I don't think a kid would be caught dead choosing that font.

Most of the time though, when I see it used, it has nothing to do with kids.

Usually it seems it's used by people who think they have to use every font that's offered, to show how "creative" they are.
The same people who tend to show their creativity by un-ironically wearing ugly Christmas sweaters, and knitting toilet paper doilies.

I stopped using it years ago, you can find loads of super cool fonts in Google fonts.
