For problems 1-3, suppose that LN 2 = a and LN 3 = b. Use log properties to write each logarithm in terms of a and b.

I have no clue how to start the following two questions. It was assigned by my teacher as extra homework.

1) IN 6

2) IN (5th root of 18)

3) IN (3/e)

Use the log properties
Here are some log properties that you need to use:

Ln (A*B) = Ln A + Ln B
Ln (A ^ C) = C * Ln A
Ln (e) = 1
Ln ( A/B ) = Ln A - Ln B

Use these rules to solve your problems. For example, 6 = 2*3 so you can use the first rule to find the ln of 6. For the second problem, figure out how to make 18 using 2's and 3's. Then, you can use the first rule above to find the ln of 18. Use the second rule to find the 5th root. (Hint: 5th root is the same as finding the 1/5 power.) Finally, use the last two rules to solve your third problem.

Okay
I will try your hints and take it from there. You are very nice. Thank you for your ongoing hints.
