Children of God member pled guilty to raping two young girls while in the cult

Derek Lincoln (aka Derek Birks / John Green), 74, pled guilty to the sick historic crimes at Glasgow's High Court yesterday.

The paedo pensioner was extradited from France last year on a European arrest warrant for his involvement in the Children of God religious cult.

Lincoln was arrested by Police Scotland on October 8, 2019, following a five-year international investigation.

Yesterday, he admitted the vile sex attacks on two girls, aged nine and eleven, between 1989 and 1991 in Scotland. He will be sentenced at a later date.

Detective Sergeant Neil Wilson from Police Scotland’s Specialist Crime Division National Rape Task Force thanked Lincoln's victims for their bravery in coming forward, which helped snare the beast.

"Thanks to the bravery of them coming forward and reporting to us, he will now face the consequences of his actions."
