This is Dave McSavage, he had a comedy sketch show called The Savage Eye.

It might give you some idea the high regard the Catholic church is held in in Ireland these days.

@cheater120,
Which has nothing whatsoever to do with British and Irish comedy.

@glitterbag,
I can’t post videos on an iPad.

I’ve recently started rewatching Toast of London, it’s very good. Arthur Matthews is an even better writer when he’s not stuck with a transphobic bigot.

I've never heard of Toast of London, I'll check it out.

A little bit from the wonderful Sean Lock. Seal clubbing.....so funny.

Or Rectum of the year, that's rear of the year with gloves off.

@eurocelticyankee,
I did an RIP thread when Sean died, I don’t think Americans have heard of him.

Toast of London stars Matt Berry as a washed out actor Stephen Toast.

It’s very good and quite surreal. One episode is about the Nigerian ambassador’s daughter who is addicted to plastic surgery. She goes too far and ends up looking like Bruce Forsyth, who she hates. Then she starts to be mistaken for him and gets into appearing as him in presentations and such.

There are lots of stereotypes that are mocked like hipsters. One intern on the voice studio constantly says, “This is Clem Fandango can you hear me?” much to Stephen’s annoyance.

@izzythepush,
I'll check it out.

Lately I find myself watching people react to comedy sketches I've already seen. Don't know why but I get a great laugh watching them getting a great laugh.

I especially enjoy watching reactions to Catherine Tate, Frankie Boyle and Dave Allen.
Weird what?.

Example.

@eurocelticyankee,
You like what you like. On Pointless the other day there was a woman who liked watching videos of a JCB digging holes.

@eurocelticyankee,
I think she was more into watching than doing, apparently the bloke in question makes a lot of ponds.
