There's no such word as "remainain", as I'm sure a quick look in a dictionary would confirm.
Can " will" replace "would" in the above sentence? If so, is there a difference in meaning?

They mean different things. Will implies sureness. Would implies a doubt, with the possibility that the speaker could be wrong. Here, it's a rather small difference, but it's still a difference.
Hmm, I see the difference in using "would," which is conditional in this context, as meaning that confirmation is conditional upon a quick look in a dictionary.
Like jespah says, "will" implies sureness.
