I purchased a pint of blueberries. I now find that there is a white fuzz on some of the berries.

What is it? Dangerous?

@gollum,
Is it fuzz or the regular white waxy coating, known as bloom. The waxy white is natural and safe (it grows to keep bugs from feasting on the berries). If it's fuzz, it may be best to toss the batch. Likely mold.

@Sturgis,
Sturgis-

Thanks.

I would construe it as fuzz. Do I will toss the whole pint container.
