@BillRM,
Any information about the satellite would be provided by NASA. They could just say 'that is satellite xyz".

@BillRM,
NASA would say that the satellite was scheduled to orbit at that time. NASA can ignore what people say to each other in their living rooms.

So is there any indication at all that very large satellites that was only in orbit for a few days during the Apollo missions and was first reported at the same time as Apollo launches?

If I remember correctly the satellite spotters would and do now kept detail records among themselves.

@BillRM,
Good point. The satellite spotters may have the information. I don't think NASA can be trusted to provide reliable information about satellites.

Come on as far as this anti NASA nonsense is concern and any attempts to fake moon landings an keep them fake for over 50 years is not doable for many reasons.

Such a program of faking moon landings would be harder to do then simply landing on the moon as we in fact did.

@BillRM,
Landing a rocket on the moon was done. Putting a man on the moon was not.

So they can put a craft on the moon but for some strange reason decided not to have a crew on broad the crafts.

Tens of thousands would be in the know an yet for 50 years the secret is kept.

Once more how silly can you be?

@BillRM,
The strange reason is the radiation levels within and beyond the Van Allen belts.

@BillRM,
According to Science in Action #355 viewable on YouTube the rocket could go out through the Poles but it would be very difficult to return by this route.

@BillRM,
Also why has no astronaut ever gone more than 300 miles above the earth's surface apart from the Apollo missions.

What would be gain by doing so as the next point of interest is Mars not a goal within the range of man flight yet.

No the next point of interest is sending an astronaut 400 miles above the earth's surface.

,oo

LOL an what he hell is at 400 miles that is not at 100 miles or 230,000 miles just short of the moon for that matter?

Unless you have a desire to park you man spacecraft in the middle of the Van Allen belt for however long it would take to get a serous amount of radiation instead of traveling through it in a matter of minutes.

@BillRM,
400 miles has not been done for 47 years. Anyhow, the game is up. Buzz Aldrin has confessed on YouTube that he didn't go. He was being interviewed by an 8 year old and it would appear he couldn't bring himself to lie to her. She asks, why is it that haven't been to the moon for such a long time and he saanswers, because we didn't.
