Hello there people.I am eager to expand my vocabulary in english now that I finished for ever my studies in greek language.You say a simple word and then add 3 synonyms.For example understand: fathom,comprehend,penetrate.That way we practise or test our memory skills and our knowledge and maybe we can learn with this method more words.Your help is essential and appreciated.
I hope you don't find it dull though.
essential, necessary, vital
I guess the simple word infront is important.
Agree: Concur,Accede,Acquiescent
Breasts--Titties,boobs,norks.
Man-stupid,lecherous, useless
Strong: Vigorous, Tenacious, Sagacious.
Puritan--prig,bluestocking,frigid.
Weak: Anemic,Craven,Feeble
(By the way what does puritan mean?)
Obvious-clear, unchallenging, dull.
Stubborn: Obstile, Adamantic, Ornery.
Dull --Dreary,depressing,drab.
Compliant: Obdedient, Submissive, Passive.
Girl--wench,chicken,flapper.
Create: Formulate, Originate, Breed.
Horrible: nasty, unpleasant, disgusting
Nice-Females,threaders,trivia.
believe: give credence to, credit, have faith in
Knickers--trolleys,kecks,bloochers.
