They're saying that there may be thunder storms this evening. What if the power goes out? It would be too dark to attempt to do anything in the basement. I'd better go get the ice cream out of the freezer now, and eat it all . . . you know, just in case?
Don't tell anyone, but I whimper like a lil skeered Bahstin terrier.

@jespah,
Awakened this morning and my front yard looked as though Noah had visited. Walked out in my garage, and the front of the breaker box had blown off and was lying on the floor. SCARY!

Fabulous display of lightning and thunder. Too bad I was in hot and stuffy faculty meeting.....

Long as you're okay, Miss Letty.

WOW ! ! !
The most stupendous thunderboomers i've ever seen! There is no way to link the thunder to the lightening, the thunder is a continuous growl. I've never seen a thunderstorm like this, not even in tornado alley!
My profile is paranoid. I've talked to her and talked to her, and she still hides in the corner and snarls whenever someone comes in.
I'm currently living in Toronto.

@Setanta,
I was checking my calculations from the Bible Code and the date was actually June 9 not MAy 21. "PReceded by thunder boomers of Bobblical proportions". Thats what she sez in the Bible.
